The Beatles - Abbey Road
(Apple PCS 7088 UK LP 1969)
This is an original 1969 UK LP pressing. It has a fully laminated sleeve which has an extremely thin spine. It comes with its original company plain paper inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green "Apple" labels. It has 1st YEX 749-3U and YEX 750-1 matrix numbers. The mother stampers are GG 1 and ROT 5 respectively. There is no "Her Majesty" listed on Side 2's label.
Sleeve: There is a 3 cm area of moderate rubbing wear at the centre of the spine. This has caused a 3 cm split in that area. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear on some areas. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are approx 7 light hairline marks. These vary in size from 1.5 cm to 6 cm in length. There is one more moderate surface rub mark. All the marks are mainly on Side 1. Side 1 is graded Good+, Side 2 is graded VG+. Overall, Good++ condition. The labels are in Near Excellent condition. They show mild spindle wear. The plain paper inner sleeve is in VG condition. There is some light or mild ringwear. There is a small seam split at the centre of one side.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places.
There are a few areas of more moderate crackle. These do not last long.
