PLEASE READ THE DISCRIPTION THIS IS A VERY RARE PRESSING
The Beatles ABBEY ROAD LP with DARK APPLE label, PCS 7088 - RARE 1st Issue MISALINED SLEEVE - and EVEN RARER 1st press MATRIX NUMBERS YEX 749-2 and YEX 750-1
Why are these matrix numbers so rare? Because This record has HER MAJESTY credited to the side 2 label!!!! 95% OF 1ST PRESSINGS HAD 'NO HER MAJESTY'
When they realised the 'her majesty' error they corrected it but only a very small number were issued with the first press matrix numbers, and as such are so very hard to find.
The misalined apple sleeve on it's own is a collectable with a book price of £200+, and not so long ago I saw one of these go for £250+
Condition is as follows, the sleeve is VG+/EX- as it has a bit of creasing and a small amount of wear to the opening edge and the corners, it still holds it's original shine and the spine is still crisp, It has a plain white inner sleeve in EX condition, as for the record side 1 has a scratch about an inch long it's not deep more like a heavy scuff, without this it would be EX condition but because of this I will say its VG+/EX- the rest of side one and side two just have very occasional and faint paper scuff marks under strong light, It plays great and still shines.
This record is extremely rare, there were probably only a couple of hundred pressed during the 1st pressing with 'Her Majesty' credited to the label, and there is also the mis-alined apple on the sleeve
