Various Artists - The Concert For Bangla Desh (Capitol SABB-12248) Rare STILL SEALED 1982 2LP set with gatefold cover with promo hole in corner.
This album was the 1971 recorded live benefit concert which included George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Ravi Shankar.
This was a reissue/repackage of the 3LP box set originally issued by Apple Records in 1971. Some photos from the booklet were reproduced inside the gatefold cover. Due to contractual problems, this double album was never issued. After the project was cancelled, most of the albums were destroyed, but a few survived.
This is an UNOPENED guaranteed 100% authentic copy which we purchased directly from an ex-Capitol Records executive.
