Here is the most sought after Capitol Records commercially issued Beatles picture sleeve there is. Only East Coast straight cut sleeves were produced and in limited numbers.
This sleeve was never easy to obtain – even back in 1964. The Can’t Buy Me Love / You Can’t Do That picture sleeve is the rarest of the standard sleeves that was issued with a Capitol Beatles single. It features the same Dezo Hoffmann photograph as the sleeve for Capitol’s first Beatles 45 “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”
In fact, with the exception of the different song titles and record number, the sleeve is virtually identical to the East Coast version of the “I Want to Hold Your Hand“ sleeve.
The Beatle’single Can’t Buy Me Love / You Can’t Do That (Capitol 5150) was released on March 16, 1964. The originals were issued on the orange/yellow swirl label.

Media – A side NM, B side VG++
Sleeves – VG+ with slight fold on lower right corner and someone's name written on the back of the sleeve –otherwise NM
