**BEATLES 'HARD DAY'S NIGHT' UK PARLOPHONE DEMO 1964**
THIS IS A RARE AND 100% GENUINE 1964 DEMO OF 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'/'THINGS WE SAID TODAY' . IT WAS PURCHASED AT FLEETWOOD OWEN AUCTION BY THE SELLER IN OCTOBER 2000. THE RECORD IS ON THE OVERSIZED RED & WHITE PARLOPHONE LABEL. WITH 'PARLOPHONE CO. LTD' RIMS AND R 5160. CODE NO. THE 'KT' TAX/PRICE CODE IS VISIBLE IN THE CENTRE OF THE SIDE 1 LABEL.
Labels
I would grade as GOOD for both sides. As you'll see from the visuals there is some smudged writing of the name of the original recipient as well as an dark ink stain where a date lable has been peeled off. On the A side this happens either side of the centre, on the B side, on the same side. There is also a bit of dicolouration on the white labels.
Record
The record itself is in better shape. The B side is in near mint condition. The A side would have been described as near mint except for a couple of long scratches on the surface. Beyond that both sides still have plenty of original shine and lustre.
Stampers in the run off groove: KT1 JR, KT2 GG
