This is a very rare original 1964 1st press parlophone lp with "THE PARLOPHONE.."."RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" and "SOLD IN UK" label text and is "KT" stamped in superb condition
The original laminated gatefold cover is STUNNING!!,The front has full gloss,very shiny with no laminate cracking!1,there are NO VISIABLE EDGE CREASES!! not even on the spine,WOW!!.The four corners are very sharp.The spine is SOLID WITH NO WEAR and all the info is clear,the seams have NO SPLITS!!.The back is equally as nice,again no laminate cracking with just a couple of small and light edge creases,NO RING WEAR!.The only defect is a very tiny wear mark at the bottom.The inside of the gatefold is very nice and clean with just a little dirt on the flipbacks.Altogether a great example!!
The record which is made out of thick quality wax is in great condition,it looks MINT!! with full gloss,under a strong light you can see some light marks/rubs
The labels are very clean with just a couple of light "spider" marks near the hole
I have played the lp and it sounds fantastic!!,definetly not overplayed at all those wild parties,there is no lessening in sound quality at all.From the quiet run on most of the tracks play great with just the odd light click and minimal light background noise between some tracks but this will not stop you enjoying this fantastic beatles lp
