  This copy is no doubt a collector's issue - why?

• British Parlophone is the worldwide only company who issued Beatles For Sale as a MONO album. Three pressings have been published only between December 1964 and fall 1991(!)
• This copy showcases the worldwide first press. Contrary to the STEREO version, where Germany came up prior to the U.K. (R/W/G Odeon, SMO 83 790, Mid November 1964, stereo only).
• Incredibly low mother stampers of O1/A1 punched into the record's dead wax.
• It's Label Variation B, the rarer one, indicated by a bigger space between the wording "THE BEATLES" and "MADE IN Gt.BRITAIN" on bottom of labels.
• Appropriately, this very early pressing comes in heavy good old British vinyl with a weight of 165 grams.

Mandatory KT Taxt Stamp sits on side A. Vinyl is housed in its original gate-fold cover that opens to the inside, where record is placed to the right wing. Has wording "mono" in "transparent" style on upper right corner of cover's front.
(Almost) most importantly: Inside of gate-fold cover is in an incredible condition!! Every experienced collector knows that this is a "main issue" with Beatles For Sale. Due to its strange "opening technique", virtually no copy remained shiny and intact on its cover's inside. However, this cover is one of the few that made it! Please see pictures on bottom of listing for a visual evidence.

Even after meanwhile 50 years (!) of life time, record comes with shiny vinyl that has a near mint sound. If you don't either own this album at all or in a comparable quality, it's a "must-have-purchase".

Audible checks are performed with a Pro-Ject Audio system connected to a DENON PMA 520-AE amplifier, with a Sennheiser 350 headset.     Remarks   As for the Cover and related issues, please refer to pictures provided right after. Spine is 100 percent readable.
The front laminated cover is completely glossy, made of rock-solid cardboard. Back side and inside are top, too! Absolutely clean insertion slot, no cuts, writings, nothing. In particular the inside of gate-fold cover is awesome! Inner edges of right-centered inside opener shows virtually no damage - an exception rarely seen (we talk about a 50-years-old first press here). Front and back show a lill ring wear. Slightly scuffed edges.
Both labels are absolutely clean. No writings, stains, tears, or spots. Some spindle hole wear.
Vinyl is shiny, both sides. Hairlines only. Here and there some "scuff".

Regarding audio, you'll recognize a clear straight mono sound. There's very few noises between tracks. While Side A is clean, Side B here and there has some bg noise, which is why we split grading NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT PLUS.

We are Collectors, hence every record is stored (and will be sent) in a sophisticated way. Many experienced collectors were thrilled by our unique, bullet-proof "packing technicque". Original cover, inner sleeve(s), prospective inserts, and/or whatever may come across, are stored separately. The vinyl sits in a neutral antistatic, padded inner sleeve, which is housed in a stable, neutral cardboard cover. Package is protected by one (or more) transparent plastic sleeves.
