George Harrison's historic FIRST SOLO LP and OPUS MAGNUS original 3-RECORD BOX SET RELEASE which made it's debut in November 1970 following the break-up of the Beatles seven months earlier. It includes the hit singles 'My Sweet Lord' and 'What Is Life', as well as the title track and 'Isn't It A Pity' which were turned down by the Beatles for a total of 17 legendary studio tracks plus 4 'Apple Jam' bonus tracks featuring Harrison with several compatriots such as Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan, Jesse Ed Davis, Gary Wright and the members of Badfinger to name a few! When the legal fights were over by the end of 1976 between all four Beatles to dissolve their record company Apple, Capitol Records was all too eager to release a second generation printing of the Beatles' collaborative and solo catalogs, of which this 1978 ORANGE LABEL PRESSING IS ONE OF THEM~!!
