AUCTION SPECIFICS AND CONDITION:
BEAUTIFUL AND COLLECTIBLE BEATLES MFSL BOX SET. The outer box is in great shape. The brass on the hinged doors is shiney and clean.
The lps are in stupendous unplayed NM condition. I looked every lp over, and they are stone mint perfect. Not a single scratch, scuff, wispy sleeve mark - nothing but vinyl that shines like a peice of fine glass with a wet gloss finish! Not a single spindle mark on any label!
The contents of the beautiful gold-lettered box includes:
1. A full-sized, full color, brochure of all 13 lp covers (The White LP was 2 lps which make 14) is also NM.
2. Includes all of the cardboard inserts and rice paper inner sleeves, and pristine lps.
3. Certificate of authenticity.
4. Also includes the GEO DISC cartridge alignment tool for your turntable.
5. I will also include copies of a rare MOBILE FIDELITY letter about the release of the set that was sent to retailers, and a 1982 LA Hearald news article about the release of the box set!
6. I will also include copies from the pages of an ultra rare MOBILE FIDELITY PROMO BROCHURE promoting the box set to retailers! (see pics below).

THESE MFSL LP'S WERE pressed in Japan before Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs eventually pressed their Lps in the United States. The LP are Half-Speed Mastered with the Ortofon Cutting System from the Original Stereo Master Tapes. This MFSL LP has a special static free, dust free inner sleeve and heavy-duty protective packaging. This LP box set has been Out of Print for 25 years and a bonafide audiophiles collectible. Also comes with a complete boxlet with each titles information.
MFSL LIMITED EDITION. This Limited Edition is an audiophile collectors item that simply gives the feeling of being directly in the studio with the artist. Used nothing but the finest lacquers. The more you play the LP, your stylus will polish the grooves and actually improve the sonics of your MFSL LP. This recording is mastered from the Original Session Tapes.
