Description
Nilson - APPLE ACETATE
This an acetate of songs from the 'A Little Touch Of Schmilsson In The Night' album they are not all the same as the released version and the tracks are in a different order some have long orchestral intros. I do not have a copy of the original but I have listened on line to the tracks and some are different (mix/eq/arrangement) of particular interest is the 2 versions of 'As Time Goes By' which both appear markedly different to the released version. Could well be unique - who knows?
I have not cleaned the acetate other than to run a carbon fibre brush over it, I did not wnat to damage the acetate, it may well play much better a good clean, I am aware how fragile these plates can be so will leave it to the new owner.
I have made a high quality recording with on eq/normalisation or click removal. Below are links to a summary MP3 of each side. I have not graded this item as the clips give a clear indication of what you would be getting. If you are a serious collector I would be prepared to allow inspection of this item.
I am happy to burn the recording to CD and include it in the price. I have experience of professional audio restoration - so would supply an 'as is' and 'restored' version.
