DIE BEATLES - Komm, Gib Mir Deine Hand b/w Sie Liebt Dich (Parlophone A8117)
Vinyl: VG (general scuffing and the odd tiny scratch which have no effect upon play - which is an ordinary EX)
Cover: VG- (frayed top; small stain on front; small tear and crumpling near the die-cut centre hole)
Notes For Fellow Collectors Around The World: Original Australian mono pressing from 1964 on Parlophone. Labels show slight tears on B side (visible in 2nd photo) and some wear on the raised outer rim. No writing, stickers, glue residue, etc.

BTW This is the rarest of the original Australian Parlophone 45s because it was the only Australian vinyl 45 by the Beatles not to make the Top 40. Even the 3 x Polydor singles made the Top 30 in Australia in 1964. And the 3 x CD singles in from Live At The BBC; Anthology 1 & 2 all made the ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) Top 50 in Australia in the mid-90's.
I often think it was the DIE BEATLES which turned kids off at the time. If you love The Beatles why would you want to buy a 45 by someone who wants them to die? Multi-culturalism (and bi-lingualism) was not very common in 1964 in the English speaking world. So apparantly, it only sold 2000 on release - and those sales were split between 6 States and 2 Territories (which was why it didn't make any Aussie Top 40 chart in any Australian State).

NB: Postage cost increase is due to Australia Post charging an extra $2 for international 'letters' which weigh over 125g and the last 45 I posted weighed 133g. The good news is 2 x 45s can be sent for this postage cost.
