Description
Beatles Let It Be Box Set UK PXS 1 from 1970 complete in overall excellent condition.
Original 1st issue with record matrix 2U/2U and Red Apple Logo on the rear sleeve.
The outer box which is visually the most important part remains strong and stiff with a few minor
nicks but basically a really nice condition outer box grading EX.
The LP with original white Apple Text inner bag-one small nick on the edge of the nice condition laminated cover
which is otherwise excellent-the disc looks near perfect in ordinary light with one small hairline just about visible-
a few more minor marks in artificial light but this is an excellent disc for sure.
The Get Back book is near enough perfect and grades top EX.No loose pages etc.and as good as one can get.
The inner box has a lot of small creases on the 2 flaps and surrounds but to counter that the main
back part is really good still.Overall grades VG.
The book tray is perfect and would grade top EX.(Its possibly a replacement BUT I just bought
a set of these replacement bits and its totally different-just looks so good when its normally the
weakest bit but it is exactly as I remember the trays with the colours and the little openings all around!)
Anyway overall a really nice original 1st UK issue set complete and apart from the
inner box flaps which are well aged,everything is towards the top end of condition. No writing etc.
anywhere-these publicity posters from Apple that have suddenly appeared everywhere are virtually
all copies and were only ever found in a few early issues-you can buy these copies quite easily
should you want one but they are not part of an original issue as such!
This set is for sure towards the top end conditionwise.
