PLAY TESTED: Plays GREAT...Powerful, rich full Mono sound fidelity. Songs themselves play clean. Some inter-track surface crackle found between some tracks.
OTHER NOTES: VERY RARE! Version 1 with Love Me Do and PS I Love You, column back, oval logos with colorband. The record has "AUDIOMATRIX" machine stamp in the trail-off (deadwax) area which is generally considered as a proof of authenticity of the first pressing. The "MR" found within a circle in the deadwax indicates the record plant of origin was Monarch Plant, Los Angeles, CA.
The deadwax has a date stamp of 6-29-63 hand etched in the trail-off vinyl indicating the record was pressed 8 months before Vee Jay finally decided to release the record in the U.S. February 1964.
