Description

You are bidding on an Introducing The Beatles RARE Version 1 MONO Vinyl LP Album VJLP 1062 US VEE-JAY.  This is an original and authentic copy of "Introducing the Beatles" #VJLP 1062 mono.  It is in the version 1 format as it contains the songs "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love you".  Vee-Jay got into a costly legal battle with Capitol and quickly lost their publishing rights.  Prior to this they had replaced those two songs on version 1 with "Ask Me Why" and "Please please Me" which is referred to as Version 2.  As I understand it, this is the most heavily counterfeited album of all time.  We came across this album in a private collection. It IS an ORIGINAL and AUTHENTIC copy.  It passed on all of the respective characteristics taken from rarebeatles.com website.

Offered is Introducing..... THE BEATLES / England's No. 1 Vocal Group, on Vee Jay Label VJLP 1062.

This is The Beatles U.S. debut release "Version 1" album.  This copy has the "song titles" listed on back cover.

We have examined this one carefully, & here is what we have found:

1) George's shadow on the right of the front cover is clearly visible, as are Paul's hands.

2) The width of the run-out dead-wax is 1".

3) The LP has the oval Vee Jay on the label, with the colors (particularly the greens) still very vibrant rather than faded.

4) "Love Me Do" is track 6 on side 1 and "P.S. I Love You" is track 1 on side 2.

5) Oval Vee Jay label, "INTRODUCING the BEATLES", & "THE BEATLES" are all above the spindle hole.

THE VINYL CONDITION : VG+ : Both Side 1 & 2 have very few small hairline marks that are shallow. There are no deep marks. There are spindle marks & a no wrinkles on the labels. The LP retains a very good portion of its original gloss.

A play-grade of the LP confirms the VG+ grading. All tracks play through, with no skipping or sticking.

THE COVER CONDITION : VG+ : Present is minor ringwear on the front, with some scuffing; moderate edgewear; the seams (including the spine) are intact, corners are in Good to Very Good condition. There is a stamp mark in the bottom right corner on back. Inspected by E.Z. (INSP. BY E.Z.)
