THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME
This is the very 1st pressing with Dick James Credits on the GOLD and BLACK label with the EJ Day cover .
I have NOT sold anything on E Bay before , i have a lot of rare Beatle records which i want to sell over the next few months so any questions i will be only too willing to help
I will describe everything to the best of my ability
The record itself is very shiny has only a couple of very minor surface marks when held to the light. It is thick heavy vinyl and shiny on both sidesThe labels are crisp and bright on Side 2, on Side 1 there is a slight dullness around the centre. There is no loss of lettering. There is some loss of gloss on the labels on both sides but NO loss of lettering anywhere.There is very very minimal spindal wear.
The MATRIX RUN OFF CODES ARE XEX 421 -1N AND XEX 422 -1N
Overall i would say the vinyl is Excellent plus to Mint - .
The record is housed in the original poly lined (Use EMITEX) INNER SLEEVE
As to the record sleeve. It is far from been perfect i cannot lie. The spine is legible and there are no letters missing. There are no tears or rips to the sleeve and it is intact. Hoiwever the corners and edges are all worn and slightly bent . There is bending in the laminate in the top right hand corners. The cover IS clean however the colours are bright. The rear of the sleeve shows signs of aging with a few spots and it is NOT the cleanest example. However to be fair it is NOT battered and would probaly be classed as VG. All of the writing is visible and the sleeve is flat and the opening shows very minimal wear. It is flat .
I will not go on for ever as some adverts do. It is the original very first pressing. The vinyl is almost perfect, The labels are excellent, the sleeve is VG at best. Finding a BLACK GOLD MONO in this condition is getting harder. A better sleeve may be easier.
