HERE ARE THE DETAILS
Black Parlophone label with gold ink and "LONG PLAYING" curved across the top.
The word "mono", on upper right of the front cover, is large.
Wrap-around cover.
Straight-cut corner.
Catalog No. "PMC 1202" is printed on upper right corner of the back cover.
The Parlophone Co. Ltd. is printed in small letters on the label
Embossed Tax Code MT is present & correct
Matrix No. is
Side-1: XEX 421-1N
Side-2: XEX 422-1N
Polythene-lined "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve type-1-1
On 8th March, when George Martin typed up the running order sheet for "PLEASE PLEASE ME", he mistakenly credited 4 songs(*) as being published by the "Dick James Mus. Co."
This is the list that went to the printers, from which the first incorrect batch of labels was made, for both the mono and stereo pressings.
The Second pressing (this record), the publishing credit had changed to "Northern Songs Ltd.".
Sleeves for "Please Please Me (mono)" were by two London’s of printing houses: Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd. and Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The first and second issue has a sleeve made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd only - please see picture.
The cover photo was taken at EMI's former headquarters at Manchester Sq. by Angus McBean on 5th March 1963.

CONDITION INFO
SLEEVE = VERY GOOD WITH LAMINATE CREASING , SOME MINOR EDGE AND CORNER WEAR. THE REVERSE HAS SOME HANDLING MARKS AND EVIDENCE OF SELLOTAPE ALTHOUGH THE FLIPBACK SLEEVE IS FULLY INTACT ( PLEASE SEE PICTURES). STRONG SPINE WITH LETTERING FULLY LEGIBLE.
LABELS = GOOD CONDITION, SOME WEAR ESPECIALLY NEAR SPINDLE HOLE - ( PLEASE SEE PIC )
VINYL = VISUALLY GOOD WITH VARYING SURFACE SCUFFS AND SURFACE SCRATCHES.
PLAYBACK = GOOD. NO SKIPS OR JUMPS. THERE IS A FAIR AMOUNT OF SURFACE NOISE AT THE START OF EACH SIDE BUT THIS SETTLES DOWN QUICKLY AND THE LP PLAYS WELL. SOME EXPECTED NOISE BETWEEN TRACKS.
