This auction is for an Original Master Recording of The BEATLES -'PLEASE PLEASE ME' LP -MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LAB -MFSL 1-10. This album has been played only 3 times on a fine turntable and is in excellent to near-mint condition. This is one of the first four Beatles albums available on CD in MONO only, making these special MFSL pressings the BEST source in the world for the STEREO versions of these four albums. Original Master Recordings were limited edition, state-of-the-art recordings of unparalleled audio quality for the vinyl format. They were pressed overseas by the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) utilizing Super Vinyl (an exclusive compound that is heavier and harder than ordinary vinyl, and far superior to even 100% virgin vinyl) which gives maximum clarity and durability. The result is an ultra quiet playing surface. These recordings were exclusively transferred from the first-generation original studio stereo master tape, as opposed to production copies often used for mass reproduction. MFSL’s exclusive half-speed mastering process captures every nuance of sound from the master tape. The result is a far superior dynamic range, improved top-end and overall frequency response, along with better stereo separation. Original Masters Recordings are housed in a specially constructed heavy-duty album jacket that’s supported by a rigid cardboard inner sleeve.
