Description

This is the VERY RARE Black & Gold MONO UK 1963 Pressing called 'Please Please Me' and is EXTREMELY rare indeed!!!! It is also the RAREST Black & Gold Pressing with the MUCH rarer 'Northern Songs' credits to BOTH labels!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!!  THIS BLACK AND GOLD PRESSING HAS MUCH MUCH RARER 'NORTHERN SONGS' CREDITS ON BOTH LABELS!!!!  THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE 1963 BLACK & GOLD MONO PRESSING AND IS VERY HARD TO FIND!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL 1963 MONO UK Black & Gold pressing from 1963 and is EXTREMELY rare!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Black & Gold pressing, with the Black & Gold Parlophone labels  (with the much MUCH rarer 'Northern Songs' Credits), 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, an E.J.Day Sleeve and a Polythene lined Emitex inner. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The stamper codes are 2/GH & 1(with a 2 below it)/GH. The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

However it is important to make clear that this isnt a perfect copy. It does have a few faults (which I will explain below) - but it is certainly very playable and DOES NOT jump!!!! However as just stated this isnt a perfect copy - but this is a VERY rare chance for someone to own a MEGA RARE Black & Gold Pressing of this sought after LP at a cheaper price than the HUGE price of a MINT copy!!!!  There isnt many people who can claim to own one of these EXTREMELY sought after Black & Gold pressings - so although this LP isnt perfect - it has NO JUMPS, and is a GREAT chance for someone to own this EXTREME rarity at a cheaper price than a MINT copy!!!!

The MEGA RARE Black and Gold record labels are in reasonable condition - though they do display some general wear in places to both sides (see pictures) and there is also some 'dulling' to the Gold Print. However there is NO writing to either label.  The vinyl again isnt perfect and there is some scratches, hairlines, marks, and some light scuffing to both sides - though most of these are only really noticeable under light.  The record also has a 'greasy' look under light (though obviously the record isnt greasy and perfectly clean) - though I dont know what this has been caused by.  The record is still VERY black looking and still has a nice shine to it.  As I said before the record has NO jumps, and only a few clicks/pops and all the tracks play through fine.  However there is some typical noise on the run on grooves, gaps etc - though this improves the further the record is played and doesnt really distract much from the music which does play well!!!!  The noise ISNT loud 'frying bacon ' crackle - and more like a lower level background fuzz.  The music is also sharp sounding too with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must STRICTLY visually grade Fair++++ if not better with NO jumps - with the playing grade slightly better!!!!  THIS RECORD MAY NOT BE PERFECT - BUT IT IS STILL A GREAT CHANCE TO OWN THIS MEGA RARE RECORD THAT PLAYS WITH NO JUMPS,  AT A MUCH CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve - which is UNSPLIT but slightly yellowed!!!! The E.J.Day FLIPBACK Cover is the EARLIEST type with the 'Angus McBean' to the far right. It has NO edge wear (apart from a few chips to the bottom edge - NOT through the colour), NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear, only a few creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is nice and straight with NO feathering!!!! There is NO tears, NO splits, NO writing and NO staining.  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in nice condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and only some slight yellowing.  However there are a few faults to cover. Firstly there is a sticker residue mark (residue ONLY - NOT a sticker tear) on the reverse of the cover.  Secondly there is a TINY brown 'age' mark on the reverse of the cover.  Thirdly there is a small 'pin hole' in each corner of the cover. And lastly there is a small area of flipback loss in the bottom right hand corner.  However as stated before there is NO rips, NO tears, NO splits, NO staining, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Good!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE UK PRESSING OF THIS LEGENDARY LP AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!!  THIS ONE CERTAINLY ISNT PERFECT - BUT IT IS VERY PLAYABLE AND DOES PLAY THROUGH WITH NO JUMPS,  - AND STILL LOOKS OVERALL QUITE PRESENTABLE (though obviously not perfect).  THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE CHANCE TO OWN THIS MEGA RARE BLACK AND GOLD UK MONO BEATLES LP AT A CHEAPER PRICE THAN A MINT COPY - SO DONT MISS OUT!!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!!
