Description
On offer here is a SERIOUSLY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Please Please Me" and is a MEGA RARE 1963 UK STEREO Pressing on the Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IN 1963 BARELY ANY LPS WERE SOLD IN STEREO (VIRTUALLY ALL WERE MONO) AND FINDING A STEREO PRESSING OF THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' STEREO PRESSINGS EVER!!!! IT HAS INCREDIBLY EARLY MOTHER & STAMPER CODES OF 1/M & 1/L - SHOWING THIS LP WAS ONE OF THE 1ST 1200 COPIES EVER PRESSED!!!! IT ALSO SHOWS THAT THIS LP WAS PRESSED ONLY A FEW DAYS AFTER THE BLACK & GOLDS ENDED AND IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' YELLOW & BLACK STEREOS EVER PRESSED!!!! ANOTHER IMPORTANT POINT TO NOTE - IS THAT THIS STEREO PRESSING HAS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MIX OF THE TRACK 'PLEASE PLEASE ME'!!!! IN THE LAST VERSE OF THIS TRACK - JOHN LENNON SINGS THE WRONG LYRICS AND THEN LAUGHS AT HIS OWN MISTAKE!!!! THIS DOES NOT APPEAR ON ANY MONO LP PRESSING OR THE SINGLE - AND ONLY APPEARS ON STEREO PRESSINGS OF THIS LP MAKING THIS VERY EARLY STEREO PRESSING VERY SOUGHT AFTER INDEED!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS A STUNNING CONDITIONED RECORD AND A PRESENTABLE STEREO COVER!!!! THIS IS THE 1963 UK STEREO PRESSING ON THE YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'FIRST PUBLISHED' TEXT, NO 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, 'THE PARLOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, A 'LARGE' STEREO ON THE COVER FRONT, AN 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER, AND AN ORIGINAL EMITEX INNER SLEEVE!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Yellow & Black Parlophone UK STEREO pressing from 1963 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are YEX 94-1 & YEX 95-1. The stamper codes are 1/M & 1/L (MEGA early mother & stamper codes)!!!! The Cat. No is PCS 3042 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a STEREO pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light hairlines (only visible under absolutely EXTREME light), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better and is VERY close to a grade above!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The 'E.J.Day' Flipback Laminated STEREO Cover is VERY presentable!!!! And it is VERY important to note that although this cover isnt Mint - these early Stereo covers are INCREDIBLY hard to locate!!!! The cover has barely ANY edge wear (NOT through the colour), NO splits, NO spinal wear, NO rips, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back has barely ANY grubbyness, NO writing, and only VERY slight yellowing!!!! However there are a few things to mention about the back of this cover. Firstly there is some slight roughening/yellowing along part of the top flipback (VERY unnoticeable indeed). Secondly there is a faint stain/yellowing along the top part of the spinal flipback (this shows up FAR more in my picture due to the camera flash, and looks MUCH fainter than this in reality). And lastly there is a TINY part of the bottom right flipback missing (again this is VERY unnoticeable)!!!! Overall however this is still a VERY presentable cover!!!! The cover must grade Good!!!! THIS LP IS MASSIVELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN MEGA RARE STEREO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
TAKE A LOOK AT PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE Beatles LP!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1963 UK STEREO PRESSING OF "PLEASE PLEASE ME" BY THE BEATLES, IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!
