The Beatles Please Please Me 1G Press Stereo
The Beatles - Please Please Me 5th (or 4th depending on what side ur on) Press Type 1
These were pressed for one run only on both stereo pressing machines just before the label was corrected to the most common early Stereo.
You can tell this is an early Type 1 press as the "Rec First" line is indented or nearer the Centre hole.., and the Mother Stampers are 1P / 1G which is the same as the end of the 3rd press, the entire 4th press and the first lot of the 5th press!
This goes to show how few of these Stereo records were actually produced.
If you haven't got this, you need it as you don't see it come up too often.
Lovely condition throughout, Label has unique (mis-)printing dots on top part of label! please see pix.
Vinyl could pass for N Mint except for a few very light sleeve removal marks, though no scratches of any kind.
Inner is the Original Patents pending 1st EMITEX in NM also.
Sleeve is of the very early E J Day type with the large Stereo more near the edge of the top!
