The Beatles - Please Please Me - UK Stereo
Large stereo cover, E.J. Day and MT tax stamp on side two. Black & Yellow Parlophone labels with rare label variation.
The variation is as follows,
1st.
"RECORDING FIRST
PUBLISHED 1963" Is not aligned with (YEX.94)
2nd.
According to the 1P/1G stampers this album should have came with the first type black/yellow Parlophone labels, which have the small redundant 33 1/3 after (YEX.94) on the label.
Very few examples are known to exist.
The front of the cover looks nice, the back has some age spots and a little wear. Otherwise, not too bad.
Side one is in EX+ condition, has a few ultra light hairline scratches and light paper insertion marks.
Side two is in EX+ condition, similar condition to side one. There is black ink in the spindle holes, someone used it to cover wear.
Comes with made in G.B. sleeve and EMITEX sleeve. Vinyl weight is 164g
