COVER IS GRADED EXCELLENT- This is a strong excellent copy of the UK Original Pressing of "Please Please Me" by The Beatles. Technically only the Black & Gold label mono "Please Please Me" can be truly called a first pressing. In reality the 1963 Yellow & Black label pressings, that end with the same matrix, -1N/-1N as the Black & Gold label are original records. Both labels are in superb condition with unscuffed, very bright silver printed titles. The spindle areas are unworn and show the record has had minimal plays. The left side of the rim has "PARLOPHONE CO" with "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1963". There is not the "SOLD IN UK" text as this didn't appear until 1964. The record itself has it's original gleaming sheen and has the beautiful appearance of undulled, barely played vinyl. Just light surface marks and only the most minor surface sound but without crackles or clicks on the entire album. The front cover has it's original undulled, highly glossy laminate, over very vivid, unfaded bright colours. The strip at the top with the titles is still a pure white colour. The two top and and bottom right corners are near perfect, with some light wear to the bottom left only, although this still at full strength. There's a few minor indents and light scuffs, but these are nothing visually obvious. The spine is also in strong condition, with light wear over the titles, that are still very clearly readible. The front has the expected mild indent from the heavyweight record's shape with a few resulting laminate crinkles. Apart from a few light handling signs, this is a beautiful looking cover. The back is extremely clean and still a pure white colour. The Inner Sleeve is the original "Use Emitex" and is in superb condition, still a pure white at full strenth. This is one item from an exceptional collection of Beatles & Other LP's that I will be placing on Ebay over the next few weeks. All items carefully graded on top quality Hi-Fi.
