Continuing sale of my collection, next up is:
PLEASE PLEASE ME LP
1963 UK PMC 202
Early label with yellow lettering, before "Recording First Published 1963" was added below matrix number. I think that makes it the 4th version (but if you know better please feel free to put me right). MT stamp on label.
Early E J Day sleeve, with "Angus McBean" to far right on front.
Deadwax stamps: 2 MP / 1MD
Condition
The sleeve in reasonable shape, front nice & clean. Back is a little grubby. No writing. Corners show some wear, spine printing fully legible, little creasing.
Clean labels, a little wear to spindle hole, no writing or any other marks. Vinyl has many fine marks plus some more obvious surface marks, notably several larger 'feelable' marks on side one, but nothing that interupts play.
From a visual inspection, this has been well-played. However, overall audio is very good; a little crackly, more noticeable between tracks, with some pops, etc. Still very much a playable record.
