THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM Original 1968 Complete UK Stereo Top Loader! Low #!!! Here's the Original 1968 Pressing UK Apple Parlophone STEREO LP with a low number, and complete with photos and poster in great shape!
I have collected Beatles records and memorabilia for 55 years, and have sold on Ebay for over 10 years (100% rating).
From my personal collection, this is the original FIRST PRESS of the UK Parlophone STEREO 1968 issue of THE BEATLES WHITE ALBUM. It's an original vintage complete top-loader with the four individual color photos of The Beatles and the large color poster! As Numbers 1-300,000 were generally reserved for the Mono edition, this Stereo edition's number (0311071) makes it quite possibly one of the early ones to be numbered!!
COVER: VG Great condition for its age (49 years!). Original cream color. No seam splits. Some corner wear. Some age spotting. Spine displays some aging. Front of cover has "The BEATLES" embossed in raised block letters. The stamped seven-digit number (No. 0311071) is a very low number for the stereo issues and appears in gray. Later issues had a darker, more contrasting color.
BLACK INNER SLEEVES: VG - Each has one side that has separated along the edge(but not torn). One has a bottom seam split of about 1". Handling and use, especially along the openings. One sleeve has been taped in two spots.
PHOTOS: VG+ The fronts are in great shape, with Ringo displaying two age spots on the right side. The backs of all four photos have age spotting. No taping, no staples, no pinholes.
POSTER: VG+ In great shape. Folded as found in 1968. No spits or tears. One tiny, tiny hole at one fold. Some light age spotting.
VINYL: VG+ Labels display some lines under bright light but remain very clean and legible. Each vinyl side displays unfeelable lines. Dark green label with "An EMI Recording" text to the left. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol. With KT text code, as well as the following matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 709-1, Side 2: YEX 710-1, Side 3: YEX 711-1, Side 4: YEX 712-2, indicating a very early pressing.
