THE BEATLES REVOLVER URUGUAYAN LP ODEON URL 2114
On offer is THE BEATLES LP entitled REVOLVER released in URUGUAY on the light blue ODEON label URL 2114. This LP plays beautifully and looks really nice… and different from the standard UK release!
The cover for this URUGUAYAN LP is a soft (non-cardboard) cover. It is kept protected inside a (soft) plastic sleeve – and is in EXCELLENT condition. The LP sleeve has the credit – INDUSTRIAS FONOGRAFICAS… - MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY.
The disc is on the light blue URUGUAYAN ODEON label – catalogue number URL 2114. IT has ‘Made in Uruguay’ and ‘1966’ printed on the labels (see scan). The labels are very clean and clear and free from any writing or other marks – there is NO evidence of spindle marks. The vinyl itself is in BEAUTIFUL EX+ condition and it is clear that this LP has NOT been played very much at all. The LP sounds delightful too with a full rich sound on my BOSE hi-fi.
I have owned this LP for many years and I have only ever played it twice: once when I bought it and just now to test-play it for this auction. I have loved having this LP in my collection and I have taken good care of it. The flimsy paper sleeve is kept safe inside a (soft) plastic sleeve which is then kept inside a (hard) plastic sleeve. The disc is kept in a black card inner – and I have put a cardboard mailer with it so that the LP was always fully protected.
