Description

BEATLES - RUBBER SOUL - PMC 1267 MONO

This is the original and rare 'LOUD CUT' which was withdrawn almost immediately after release apparently after the band were unhappy about the mixing.

It is the 1st press of the LP with the XEX 579-1 and 580-1 matrices which mark it out as an original cut.

Front cover is in really good condition with some ripples on the laminate bottom left and middle right. Back cover flipbacks are tight and clear, there is no writing, the back is nice and clean other than a small light marking near the track listing (see pic)

Both sides of vinyl are lightly marked, with a couple of obvious scratches on each side. However, it plays BEAUTIFULLY, with just light crackles occasionally, nothing at all to spoil the beefy sound of the 'loud cut'.
