First press with rainbow rim labels and a border around the cover.
There are three different front cover variations of this:
* The ''New Improved'' caption is in brown inside the picture and there is no ''File Under'' caption in the top border. (THIS RECORD)
* The ''New Improved'' caption is in black and in the top border, as well as the ''File Under'' caption.
* There are two ''New Improved'' captions, one in the top border and one in the picture. The ''File Under'' caption is in the top border too.
There are four label variations of this:
* The artist's name above the spindle hole consist of the names of the Beatles, but does not mention the group's name. The ''Stereo'' caption reaches over the tracklisting. (THIS RECORD)
* The artist's name above the spindle hole consist of the names of the Beatles, but does not mention the group's name. The ''Stereo'' caption (in elongated font) reaches to the track numbering only.
* The artist's name consists of both the individual names and the group's name. The ''Stereo'' caption reaches over the tracklisting.
