DESCRIPTION:
The Beatles LP – Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, on the Yellow / Black Parlophone label with “Sold in UK” catalogue no PMC 7027 (Matrix No’s XEX 637-1 / XEX 638-1), year 1967. The vinyl is visually in Excellent condition and has a few faint surface marks, and plays through Great with some very occasional light audio background surface noise There is a small scratch on the groove towards the beginning of track 4 side one which produces a couple of clicks. The Yellow / Black Parlophone label is clean with a little spindle wear. The Y/B label has “Sold in the UK” and the “KT” tax code on side 2. The legendary laminated gatefold Picture LP sleeve (Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd) is in Excellent condition with a few small minor creases, and a hint of faint ring wear on the top. The inside of the Gatefold sleeve is lovely and clean and has the flip back top. The Spine has some very light wear and the LP Title is still legible. Comes with the original red / white inner sleeve which has a couple of seam splits and light wear around the record opening. Comes with Cardboard cut-out insert which is in Excellent condition. A lovely example of the extremely rare Beatles “Original Mono” Sgt Pepper LP.
