BEATLES SOUVENIR OF THEIR VISIT TO AMERICA VJ 1-903 EP W/ VG+ HARD COVER & 45
Released at the height of Beatlemania in early 1964, this is the only Beatles' EP (Extended Play, with two songs on each side) issued by Vee Jay.
Today, it’s not easy to find one in this condition.
The hard-cover cardboard sleeve is intact, with minimal wear and NO WRITING, NO STAPLES, NO HOLES, NO TAPE, NO LABELS.
The 45 features the rainbow colorband with VJ logo in brackets. The title “ASK ME WHY” is in slightly larger print. The side numbers are Roman numerals.
The disc was play-tested, and aside from very minor wear at the very beginning of each side, sounds pretty much like you just brought it home from the record store over 60 years ago!
Please review the photos. And thanks for bidding!
PLEASE NOTE: All net proceeds from this sale will be placed in a Special Needs Trust Fund for my son, who suffers from a Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of being hit by a motor vehicle. Your bid is appreciated. However, it is not a charity and there are no tax benefits.
Beatles records are fragile and more than a half-century old. Each has been play-tested once on a newer Sony turntable used only for that purpose. They are being described here in complete, honest and accurate detail, and are sold “as is.” I cannot be responsible for different results due to the buyer’s own equipment. Your satisfaction, along with my 100% Feedback, are very important.
This item will be packed securely, with records in paper sleeves. Once payment is transferred from eBay to my bank account, it will be shipped to USA only! Payment must be submitted within 3 days of closing, or buyer forfeits all rights to purchase.
