"Songs Pictures and Stories of the Fabulous Beatles" LP
Original 1964 Vee Jay MONO LP. NOT a bootleg.
In Febuary 1964 Vee Jay issued a repackaging of 'Introducing The Beatles' called 'Songs, Pictures And Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles' (VJ 1092). The concept was that the buyer could learn intimate facts about each of the Beatles, plus obtain even more photographs of their heroes. The actual record used in the package was 'Introducing The Beatles' with it's original title and catalog number (VJLP 1062).
HOW TO TELL THAT THIS VINYL IS AUTHENTIC - NOT A FAKE:
2) "THE BEATLES" and "INTRODUCING The BEATLES" are both above the center hole. Labels that have "Beatles" and "Introducing the Beatles" separated by the center hole are fakes.
3) Labels have bright, sharp silver print.
4) The rainbow/colorband that circles the perimeter of an original label is of high resolution, with smooth, gradual changes in color.
5) The width of the vinyl trail-off -the gap between the end of the last track and the edge of the label is one inch . All copies with trail-off area greater than an inch are fakes.

Grading Scale:
Mint (M) - A perfect 10. No visible or audible defects.
Near Mint (NM) - 9 to 10. Excellent; very little if any wear.
Very Good++ (VG++) - 8 to 9. Has very minor wear. Will still look and sound excellent.
Very Good+ (VG+) - 7 to 8. Has minor wear. Still looks nice - still sounds nice - might have light surface noise in some places.
Very Good (VG) - 6 to 7. Has moderate wear. Scuffs/scratches are more noticeable. Music still sounds fine, but you will also hear background surface noise in places.
Very Good- (VG-) - 5 to 6. Moderate to heavier wear. Surface noise throughout, but should not drown out music. Probably not for serious audiophiles. More casual listeners might still enjoy, despite the flaws.
Good (G) - 4 to 5. Heavy wear. The vinyl and/or cover will have many scuffs, scratches and/or other defects. Audiophiles should definitely avoid.
