The Beatles - 'White Album'. PMC 7067/7068
The Beatles 1968 MONO UK 1st pressing of the 'White Album' LP. Released on the 22nd November 1968, this was the first release by The Beatles which contains purely solo material. This is a great example of one of The Beatles finest and rarest LP's. The low number cover deserves special attention due to its wonderful condition. Many of these are in relatively worn condition. This is an exception, easily grading at EXCELLENT.
The White album is probably the most essential Beatles album to have in both mono and stereo as almost every track has some difference. Released on the dark UK Apple label, all sides of the vinyl feature the 'Sold in The UK ....' statement. But do NOT contain the 'An EMI Recording' text indicating an early pressing. In addition, side 3 features the embossed 'KT' tax code.
This comes complete with the original top opening sleeve which has embossed 'THE BEATLES' and the unique low number '0066623'. The sleeve is the correct UK 1968 1st MONO edition and does NOT state 'Stereo' on the back cover. The vinyl are housed within the correct original black die cut inner sleeves. The original poster is included but no photographs.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT condition.
