BEATLES UK, A Collection of Beatles Oldies’, OZT rare tax code record label, stereo 1966 UK LP.

PCS 7016, black and yellow UK 1966 stereo Parlophone record labels.

A UK stereo issue in original condition, featuring:

1. I've not seen or heard of anther copy like this, as the record label on side one features a very unusual 'OZT' tax code !. Unusual as the 'O' code was no longer used after April 1962 and the 'Z' code was no longer used after November 1962 !. So why a record manufactured in 1966, that should have had a 'KT' tax code, would have an 'OZT' tax code, is a mystery !,

2. each of the record labels feature a more unusual ‘dot’ printed between the records catalogue number, ie , ‘PCS . 7016’,

3. comes with its original EMI period advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, apart from a slight 5mm 'nick' to the rear, upper opening edge. The front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is excellent condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original UK 1960s ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period EMI advertising inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent condition. The record is made of the original 1960s, period 'thick, heavy' vinyl. The playing surfaces have remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix are: YEX 619 - 1G and YEX 620 - 1G,

The mother / stampers are: ‘3 RH’ and ‘2 RT’.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent, with some light 'crackle'. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period 'stereo' sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in very good++ condition. Each of the record labels have slight signs on an old small 'sticker', but this hardly notices. Each record label has a set of 'initials' written in blue pen within the round yellow '£' sign. The letters ‘OZT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
