PCS 7016, unusual Black and Silver one EMI box Parlophone record labels.

A UK stereo album circa 1981 in original condition, featuring:

1. the 'regular', 'one EMI box' record labels were printed between 1969 and 1971. This 'out of place' copy is from the early 1980s, featuring:

a. very unusual 'out of place' one EMI box record labels on a 'later' record, including,

b. the text around each of the record labels reads, 'The Gramophone' etc, but this text was discontinued in 1971,

c. the text, 'Made in GT. Britain', is printed on each of the record labels, but this text was discontinued in 1971,

d. each of the record labels feature an unusual 'font', 'letter' style, different from the regular 'one EMI box' record labels from 69 - 71,

e. each of the record labels feature an additional 'ring' around the 'spindle hole',

f. although a later pressing, the record is made of thick, heavy vinyl,

2. inside the card sleeve there is an 'official factory stamp' of, 'E4 JUN 1981',

3. come with its original EMI period, 'Important notice', dated 4/80, being April 1980 inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near MINT condition, the sleeve is free from any 'thumb creases'. The two opening edges are in MINT condition and have remained razor sharp. The four corners of the sleeve are in MINT condition and have remained razor sharp. The spine is in near MINT condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is crystal clear to read. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period, 'EMI Important Notice, EMI records Ltd', dated 4/80, being April 1980, inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained super clean and unworn, an excellent super clean, white crisp inner sleeve. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in near MINT condition, NOTE that the condition of the playing surfaces have been judged under normal 'daylight' conditions. The record is made from a quality thick, heavy vinyl. The condition of the record is like 'new' and 'looks' as if it has received just a few plays. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix are: YEX 619 - 3 and YEX 620 - 4,

The mother / stampers are: N/A, the letters 'HTM' are hand etched each side into the 'run off' groove.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, each side plays with some light 'crackle'. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a loud powerful, clear period 'stereo' sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition, each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
