BEATLES UK – ‘A HARD DAYS NIGHT’, rare ‘outline’ Stereo logo sleeve.
PCS 3058 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK LP in 100% original condition.
From the research I have done it appears that this LP could have been printed / pressed in 1965 to 1968 !, I think it is possibly the latter. A very small run of these ‘outlined’ Stereo logo sleeves were printed, some say they were printed in error !, as most Stereo sleeves can be found with the more familiar ‘solid’ medium size ‘Stereo logos’ on the front of the sleeves. These ‘outlined’ Stereo logo sleeves are now very hard to find.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front is laminated. The front of the sleeve has a very unusual ‘outlined’ Stereo logo. The spine is in very good++ condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve for its age has remained clean. There are NO splits or tears. There are two white sticky labels to the rear top left of the sleeve, I am not sure why they are there !. There are some light age related marks to the rear of the sleeve. There is what looks like the letter ‘J’ written in black pen to the top, front, right corner on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original EMI advertising red and white sleeve. The sleeve has NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue. There is some splitting to the two side edges and to the bottom edge. There is some light age marks to the sleeve.
THE VINYL: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in very good++ condition. The vinyl is very clean, dark and glossy.
The matrix nos. are: YEX 126 – 1 and YEX 127 – 1,
The Mother/Stampers are: ‘ 3 O L ’ and ‘ 2 M A ’.
THE AUDIO: side one is excellent, side two the audio is excellent although I did hear a couple of ‘ticks’ one minute into track six, side two that lasted for about three or so revolutions. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays well without any sticking or jumps from the needle.
THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, unusually there are NO letters embossed around the spindle holes of the labels. The labels are free from pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
