BEATLES UK, A Hard Days Night LP, ‘Know’ mis press stereo label.

PCS 3058 – original stereo UK black and yellow Parlophone labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. a rare ‘mis pressed’ stereo label on side one, as on track two, the track title has been ‘mis pressed’ as ‘know’ instead of the correct ‘I should have known better’ !. On the rear of the sleeve this track title is spelt correctly. This error only ever appeared on a very small number of labels and was soon spotted and corrected !,

2. the front of the sleeve has a more unusual ‘small’ stereo logo,

3. on the record label on side one, an additional ‘dot’ appears within the text, ‘Sold in UK’ etc, as it reads, ‘Sold in .U.K’, etc. The record label on side two does not have this additional ‘dot’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate has remained very clean and glossy and has remained relatively free from much ‘scuffing’ and ‘indentations’. The spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained an excellent clean fresh white and all of the text is clear to read on the spine. The rear of the sleeve is in excellent++ condition and has remained an excellent fresh, clean white in colour. The rear of the sleeve features the original period 1960s ‘tri’, ‘flip back’ design. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a small ‘nick’ to the middle front opening edge. To the front top, right there are signs of where an old sticker has been removed. To the front lower, right there are signs of where an old sticker has been removed, with some slight laminate/colour loss.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period EMI red and white advertising sleeve. An excellent fresh, white clean and relatively crease free inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stains, stickers, or sticker residue.

THE RECORD: side one is in very good++ condition. Side two is in near excellent condition. The record is made of the period, 1960s thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 126 – 1 and YEX 127 – 1.

The mother/stampers are: ‘3 A M ’ and ‘2 M D’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, it plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full, loud period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: side one is in near excellent condition, side two is in excellent condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
