Description
BEATLES UK – A Hard Days Night LP, ‘Know’ mispress Mono.
PMC 1230 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK album in original condition featuring:
1. a rare mispress Mono label on side one, as the track ‘I should have known better’ has been mispressed as ‘I should have know better’ !
2. on the rear of the card sleeve the song title of the track ‘ I should have known better’ is spelt correctly.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front is laminated. The laminate is super glossy. The spine is in very good+ condition and most of the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve for its age has remained very clean. The rear of the sleeve has the period ‘tri flipback’ design. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue. To the top, middle edge there is some evidence of some edge rubbing.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original EMI white period ‘Patents applied for’ sleeve. The sleeve has NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue.
THE VINYL: side one is in excellent condition, side two is in near excellent condition. The vinyl is made of the period, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The vinyl has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix nos. are: XEX 481 – 3N and XEX 482 – 3N,
The Mother/Stampers are: ‘2 A L O’ and ‘1 A O O’.
THE AUDIO: is excellent and by the look of it has not been played very much at all, an excellent playing copying. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in excellent+ condition, as mentioned above side one has a rare mispress Mono label, as the track ‘I should have known better’ has been mis spelt as ‘I should have know better’ ! The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
