BEATLES UK, A Hard Days Night, ‘know’ mis press UK mono record label LP.

PMC 1230, original UK black and yellow Parlophone record labels.

A UK LP in original condition, featuring:

1. a rare mis press mono record label on side one, as the track, ‘I should have known better’ has been mis pressed as ‘I should have know better’ !. Only a small number of these mis pressed record labels were printed before EMI spotted the error and corrected it,

2. on the rear of the sleeve, this song title has been spelt correctly,

3. on side two of the record label the text, ‘ THE BEATLES’ has been printed in a smaller text !,

4. comes with the original period black and white EMI advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has retained an excellent glossy finish and in regard to ‘thumb’ creases, there are just three small ‘thumb’ creases to the front laminate. The spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The two opening edges have remained clean and sharp. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean for its age. The rear of the sleeve features the original period 1960s, tri ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period, black and white EMI advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges are excellent and have remained clean, an excellent crease free inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent+ condition. Side two is in excellent++ condition, in fact it is difficult to see any marks to the playing surface. Note the condition of the record has been judged under normal daylight conditions. The record is made from the original 1960s quality thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: XEX 481 3N and XEX 482 3N,

The mother / stampers are: ‘7 ATO’ and ‘3 AHR’.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent++, each side plays with some light ‘crackle’. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full loud, period mono sound.

THE LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
