Description
BEATLES UK, A Hard Days Night, original first issue 1964 UK mono LP.
PMC 1230, original 1964 UK black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK LP in original condition, featuring:
1. on the rear of the sleeve there is an original shop ‘stamp’ that says, ‘Hurley, 10 Taff St, Pontypride’,
2. original UK 1964 mono record matrix of, 3N / 3N,
3. comes with its original, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The laminate has remained very clean and glossy and is free from any ‘thumb’ creases. The spine is in near excellent condition and has remained clean, white and straight and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has remained very clean. The rear of the sleeve features the period, 1960s, ‘tri flip back’, ie ‘fold over’ edge design. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a small ‘nick’ to the rear opening edge, located mid / lower part. There is some hand writing written in pencil on the rear, top right, that says, £1 – 16 – 6.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition and is the original, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean. A clean and crease free original inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one side edge and some slight age related marks to each side.
THE RECORD: side one is in near excellent condition, side one would have been graded higher, ie as ‘excellent++’ but there is a non audible ‘scuff’ that runs over track one, two, three, four and part into track five. Side two is in near MINT condition. Note: the condition of the record has been judged under normal ‘daylight’ conditions. The record has remained very dark and glossy and shows little signs of play.
The matrix is: XEX 481 - 3N and XEX 482 - 3N,
The mother / stampers are: ‘2 H’ and ‘6 TP’.
THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent, with just some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there. Side two plays excellent+. The record plays with a full, powerful period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent+ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
