BEATLES UK  –  ABBEY ROAD LP, MISALIGNED APPLE.

1969 PCS 7088 -  APPLE RECORD LABEL.

A first press UK album in 100% original condition featuring:

1. a  Misaligned APPLE logo mispress on the rear of the sleeve.

2. the track ‘ Her Majesty ’ is NOT printed on the record label on side two nor is it printed on the rear of the sleeve BUT the track  DOES play on the record !

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in  excellent+  condition, the sleeve has a full glossy  laminate.  The  thin spine is in  excellent condition and all the text  is clear to read.  For its age the sleeve has four excellent sharp corners.  As this is a very first pressing of this album it  features the Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve misaligned, to the left !.  EMI were quick to correct this and later sleeves had the Apple logo aligned with the song listing !. There are NO stains, pen writing, splits,  tears, stickers or sticker residue.

THE INNER SLEEVE:    is in near excellent condition  and  is the original white sleeve with a   ‘ Patent No.  1,125,555’ number. For its age the sleeve is very clean.  The bottom edge has started to split.  It has  NO  pen writing, stains,  tears,  stickers or sticker residue. 

THE VINYL:  side one is in near excellent condition,  side two is in  excellent++ condition.  The vinyl is made from the period thick, heavy vinyl, it is very  dark and glossy.     

The Matrix are :       YEX  749 - 2    and    YEX 750 – 1,

The Mother/Stampers are :     ‘ 6    O M L  ’   and   ‘ 2    M A P ’.

THE AUDIO:    side one is near excellent,   there is a mark on side one,  two minutes into the track  ‘ She so heavy’  that makes a ‘ tick; this last for about two minutes,  otherwise  the audio is excellent, nice quiet ‘run ins’.   Side two plays excellent, again nice quite ‘run ins’.   The record  plays well, without the needle sticking or jumping. 

THE LABELS:    side one is in  excellent condition, side two is in very good+ condition.   As this is a first pressing side one shows a DARK Green Apple.   The song  ‘ Her Majesty ’  does not appear on the label.   Theres  NO pen writing,  stickers or sticker residue on the labels.
