PCS 7009, UK black and silver One EMI box Parlophone record labels.

A UK issue in original condition, featuring:

1. on side two of the record the original factory ‘mother’ of ‘2’ has been ‘crossed out’ and replaced with the ‘mothers’ of, ‘15’,

2. on the record label on side two, it features the spelling of, ‘Doctor Robert’, but on the rear of the sleeve this track title is spelt as, ‘Dr Robert’,

3. comes with its original period, EMI advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s tri ‘flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. Theres NO pen writing on the sleeve. On the rear, bottom left there is some ‘re-enforcing’ tape and on the rear, bottom right there is a 40mm section of the ‘flip back’ missing.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period EMI advertising inner sleeve. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in near excellent condition. The record is made of the period, 1960s ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 605 - 1 and YEX 606 – 1,

The mother / stampers are: side one, ‘3 GRP’ and side two, the original factory ‘mother’ of ‘2’ has been ‘crossed out’ and replaced with the ‘mothers’ of, ‘15’, the ‘stampers’ are, ‘TH’,

THE AUDIO: side one plays excellent++, I did hear some light ‘ticks’ at the end of track two, otherwise the rest of side one plays with excellent quiet grooves. Side two plays excellent+. Each side plays with a full, loud powerful, stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

A UK 1970s issue in original condition, featuring:

1. the record features an unusual matrix combination of, ‘4’ and ‘2 U’,

2. the track, ‘Her majesty’ is printed on the record label and plays on the record but this track does not appear printed on the rear of the sleeve,

3. comes with its original, ‘Important notice’, notes and ’Care for your record’, notes EMI records Ltd inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the sleeve is laminated front and rear. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained clean white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. Theres NO pen writing, splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period ‘Important notice’, notes and ‘Care of your record’, notes ‘EMI records Ltd’ inner sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in very good++ condition. The record has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are: YEX 749 - 4 and YEX 750 – 2U,

The ‘mother / stampers’ are: ‘2 AA’ and ‘3 PA’,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent+. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full powerful period stereo sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each record label is in excellent+ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
