Description
BEATLES UK – HELP LP, 1 EMI BOX LABEL.
PCS 3071 - Black and Silver Parlophone label.
An Original UK LP in 100% original condition, featuring the later 1 EMI box Parlophone label from 1969.
There is not a Stereo logo on the front of the sleeve.
The record labels are unusual in that the text ‘33 1/3’ and the word ‘Stereo’ is positioned higher up from the rest of the text !, see photo.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front laminated sleeve has an excellent glossy finish. Unusually there is not a ‘Stereo’ logo to the top front right of the sleeve !. The sleeve features a period ‘pinched’ spine, top and bottom !, this was a period manufacturing detail of the time, the spine is excellent and all the text is clear to read. The sleeve has remained very white in colour a brilliant fresh white sleeve. There are NO tears, stains or Pen writing.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original Red and White EMI advertising sleeve. There is NO Pen writing, tears, stains or edge rubbing wear.
THE VINYL: is in near MINT condition !, it is made of the period ‘thick’ heavy vinyl, it is dark and very glossy, it looks brand new and as if it has only been played once.
The Matrix nos. are: YEX 168 – 1 and YEX 169 – 1,
The Mother/Stampers are: 3 P O and 3 P T,
THE AUDIO: is near MINT, it sounds as if it was bought yesterday. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays without the needle jumping or skipping.
THE LABELS: are in near MINT condition and look as if they have only been on a turntable once. Each of the labels are unusual as the text ‘ 33 1/3 ’ and the word ‘ Stereo ’ are positioned away from the rest of the text, this text is normally positioned together with the rest of the text on the label, it looks strange !
