BEATLES UK - RUBBER SOUL – Original Mono.
PMC 1267 Original 1965 Yellow & Black Parlophone Label.
A UK first press album in 100% original condition,
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated, the spine is excellent and all the text is clear to read. The rear is unlaminated and for its age it is very clean, the rear of the sleeve has the tri flipbacks design. An excellent sleeve with NO Pen writing, tears or stains on.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original ‘ Use Emitex ’ sleeve, it is very clean and white, with NO edge rubbing wear, Pen writing or stains on.
THE VINYL: is in excellent condition and is made of the period thick, heavy vinyl. The vinyl is dark and very glossy and has seen very little play.
The matrix are: - XEX 579 - 4 and XEX 580 – 4,
The Mother/Stampers are: ‘ 4 8 A T G ’ and ‘ 5 R L L ’.
The outer edge of the record has an unusual sharp edge to it.
THE AUDIO: on side One is excellent, side two is also excellent although strangely there seems to be some crackle on the last Two songs, maybe these Two songs were the original owners least favourite tracks and they were not played !, and have collected a little more dust in the grooves over the years ! The record lays flat on the turntable and plays very well without the needle sticking or jumping.
THE LABELS: are in near excellent condition, the letters ‘ K T ’ are embossed onto side Two.
