BEATLES UK – White Album, 3rd UK issue, numbered sleeve, complete with photo spacer.

1968 PCS 7067/7068 -  Apple record labels.

An original UK third issue, side opening, circa 1970/71 in original condition, featuring:

1. the front of the sleeve has a unique individual six digit serial number of: 291509,

2. comes with its original photo paper spacer,

3. the record labels on side one and three show a matt finish, lighter Green apple colour.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition. As this is a UK third issue, the double lp sleeve is a side opening sleeve. On the front of the sleeve it has ‘The Beatles’ embossed and a unique SIX digit serial number of: No. ‘291509’. The sleeve is fully laminated and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour. There are NO thumb nail creases, in fact very little in the way of creases on the sleeve. The four opening edges of the sleeve are sharp and clean. The spine is in excellent+ condition and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour, there is some of the usual slight ‘flaky’ laminate, all the text on the spine is readable. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stains, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are in excellent condition and are the original period plain white ‘Apple copyright’ inner sleeves. Each sleeve is clean and fresh, with NO tears, splits, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue.

THE PHOTOS: are in excellent condition, the rear of the four photos have remained an excellent fresh white in colour. There are NO tears, splits, stains, pin hole damage, sellotape / sellotape residue, blu-tac / residue, stickers or sticker residue. To the front top right edge of the photo of John there is some light ceasing. The photos come with the original paper spacer, this is in excellent condition.

THE VINYL: side one is in near MINT condition, side two is in excellent++ condition, sides three and four are in MINT condition. The condition of the records have been graded by viewing the records under natural daylight conditions. The two records are made from the period, thick heavy vinyl and are very dark and glossy and look almost like new.

The matrix nos. are:  YEX 709 - 1,  YEX 710 - 1,  YEX  711 – 1 and  YEX  712 – 1, 

The mother / stampers are:  ‘ 6  G L P ’,  ‘4   R G O’ ‘ 4  R A O ’ and  ‘8 8   R O T ’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent++,  each side begins with some light ‘dusty’ static but soon clears to give a near perfect audio. The records lay flat on the turntable.   

THE LABELS: side one is in near MINT condition, with NO spindle marks, side two is in excellent+ condition and sides three and four are in near MINT condition. Each of the labels just above the stereo logo have a small area of what looks like some sticker residue. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or any other sticker residue.

PACKING  -  ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
