Description
BEATLES UK – With the Beatles Mono LP, dark / grainy ‘E J Day’ sleeve and a ‘1 GG’ mother / stamper.
PMC 1206 – Mono black and yellow Parlophone labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. a hard to find sleeve made by ‘E J Day’, but this sleeve is more unusual as the front sleeve photo is very dark and ‘grainy’. In fact this is the very darkest image you can get for this sleeve. As the image is so dark the shadow sides of the faces are in complete darkness. A different image was used on later sleeves that were lighter and clearer, see the comparison photo. The image to the right is the sleeve for sale.
2. side one of the record has a very early mother / stamper, being ‘1 G G’,
3. it is unusual that the record labels have NO tax code letters embossed onto them !,
4. the rear of the sleeve has the earlier uncorrected ‘gotta’ spelling but the record label has the ‘got a’ spelling for the track ‘You really got a hold on me’.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the front has an excellent glossy laminate, with very little laminate creasing. The rear for the sleeve has remained an excellent fresh, clean white. The spine is in excellent condition and has remained an excellent fresh white in colour, all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period tri flipback design. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a small name written to the top rear left in black pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.
THE VINYL: is in excellent++ condition. The vinyl has remained very dark and glossy and is made from the period, thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: XEX 447 – 7 N and XEX 448 – 7 N,
The Mother / Stampers are: very early ‘1 G G’ and ‘2 G G ’.
THE AUDIO: is excellent, the vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, unusually there are NO letters embossed around the spindle holes. The songs publishing credit for the track ‘Money’ is ‘Dominion / Belinda’, The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
