Description

The Beatles White Album PMC 7067/68 ..

First Press Mono 1968 UK double LP album with top opening sleeve, black inners, four ist issue photos and poster ..

Matrix numbers ending 1/1/1/1

stampers: side1. JAA .. no number visible,
side2. GRO3/ side3. MT1/ side4. OG2

Tax code "KT" showing feintly on side2 label and
Tax code "KTJ" clearly embossed on side 4 label ..

A complete original Mono White album with an exceptionally well preserved gatefold sleeve clearly numbered 0287290,

most sleeves suffer from yellowing and unsightly age fading, this example still has a nice crisp factory white appearance! including the spine, lamination is all intact, pleasing to look at and handle, would stand out in a collection,

Both records retain their original gloss and sheen ..clean and well presented, the playback is very enjoyable benefitting from clarity and quietness between the tracks ..no annoying background noise or hiss, top quality audio experience from this original Mono album,

Records graded under a strong light source:-
side.1 EX condition..odd light swirl within the vinyl when angled not on the surface, light superficial removal surface mark

side.2 Close to Mint condition ..a pristine playing surface that's as close to Mint condition as you could find, immaculate looking vinyl,

side3 EX++close to N/M ..superb playing surface

side.4 close to the same condition as side3 except for a 2.5cms visible scratch which I've photographed, playback is same league as rest of the album except from end of Savoy Truffle through Cry Baby Cry track you get a click/tick due to the scratch ..doesn't really spoil listening experience tick mainly in the background ..it's more audible at the beginning and through 'Revolution No.9' track .. obviously because this is mainly in spoken phrases ..click disappears halfway through the track and that's it! otherwise a fine sounding album as described above

Labels are clean and well presented with no sticker marks, both Black inners are free of any splitting or tearing, complete with four 1st issue Beatles photos and large poster, all in all a fine quality complete First issue Mono example
