Apple Mono PMC 7067/68
Original 1968 Pressing Double LP album with 1/1/1/1 ending matrixes ..
stampers:- GAL.4/LT.3/GAA.6/MM.4
Early Wide Spine Sleeve .. and low '00'number
Playing surfaces and labels are well presented and nice looking, both records retaining all the original gloss and lustre, you can see the nice sheen and condition even when held up to a strong light with only a few wisps odd light scuff marks in places, audio playback benefits from having very little or no background noise ..especially clear even on the quieter tracks, no jumps or skips there are some clicks/pops heard at the beginning of Mother Natures Son odd miniscule pop here and there otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable album,
Sleeve is well presented clean and virtually crease free, nice one to pick up and handle, this is the earlier wide spine version measuring a full 8mm across, the regular sleeves are narrower, clear embossed Beatles name and numbered 0093144 ..
complete with the original black inners and poster with four prints which may have been on a wall at some point being a bit faded,
disc1 graded EX, disc.2 VG/EX because of mentioned clicks otherwise excellent clear audio throughout on all four sides, sleeve in excellent condition,
All in all it's a great listen and visually a well presented early Mono example with a collectable low number and wide spine sleeve,
