This is the best example of a mono White album that I have seen in years, this is a very early 1st pressing with the hugely rare 1G mother and stamper making it amongst the first off the press and to be in such amazing condition is unheard of. All four labels are pristine with hardly any signs of previous use apart from 1or 2 whispy spider marks when tilted under light, side 4 has the early KT tax code stamped around the spindle hole and it is this same side that has the 1G stamp. Side 3 & 4 have the E.M.I recording text whilst side 1 & 2 do not, all four sides have the "sold in the uk" text.
The vinyl surfaces are remarkable and show little if any signs of previous play, all have a deep new looking shine as when they were pressed. The audio is as perfect as you will get with a rich mono sound, you will not hear better. This vinyl is of true archive quality.
The outer sleeve again is a wonder in itself as it is astonishing to see the whitness and lack of wear which this sleeve normally gets,displaying a very very early number 0015832. Inside the sleeve is MINT and the same can nearly be said for the outer of the sleeve but there is a split of around 2 inches on the spine which is a bit of a shame as otherwise it would be the ultimate White album sleeve, however I do know that this split can be repaired for a relativley small amount by a specialist restorer.
As if all the above was not enough this album comes with all four original photo's complete with the delicate spacer, the original poster is still present and even the original black inners are there. All of these items are stunningly perfect .
Overall this is one of the finest examples on the market today with just the small inperfection of the small split.
