The Beatles - The Beatles
This fantastic copy of The Beatles eponymous studio album, known widely as 'The White Album', comes with the extremely sought after 1st pressing Apple Record label without the 'An EMI Recording' text on any of the four labels.
This exceptional record is housed within the holy grail of sleeves for most Beatles collectors; a 1st edition top opening sleeve with an extremely low 7 digit serial number: No. 0009390. It doesn't get much better than this!
This album is complete with all original inner: two die-cut black inner sleeves, 4 photo card images of the Beatles, the photo card spacer, and the large foldout poster with song lyrics on the flip-side.

The labels are bright, clean and without writing. A substantial number of spindle marks can be seen to all four sides.
Visual: VERY GOOD
The vinyl surface retains the original deep gloss factory finish. In bright daylight a number of light surface marks are visible to all four sides. A single feel-able mark can be felt on Side 4.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD / VERY GOOD +

There are quiet lead-ins to side 3 and 4. Side 1 and 2 both have audible groove wear. There is only mild static in between songs. Mild groove wear is evident in places but not throughout. At no point does it over power the music. All tracks play through with the punch and vigour that is noted of the 1st press mono-aural recording.There are no skips and no jumps. A well used record but an enjoyable listen throughout.
Sleeve: VERY GOOD
The extremely rare sleeve looks great. All four sides are clean and retain the original lustre. The sleeve has a ripple that is symptomatic of water damage. There is no sign of ring wear. The spine has some laminate lift but is fully read-able. The top, bottom and opening edges show only minor wear. The corners are firm but do show signs of storage wear.
Inners: EXCELLENT
The original inner sleeves look great. They both have small rips around the die-cut centre and opening edge. VERY GOOD +. The four photo cards each have pin holes in four corners. EXCELLENT. The poster looks great. EXCELLENT. Also included in the sale are two audiophile quality, anti-static inner sleeve to help protect and preserve the fantastic records.
