BEATLES 'WHITE ALBUM' UK MONO LP. 1968. COMPLETE SET.

THE LABELS STATE 'SOLD IN UK SUBJECT TO...' - NO MENTION OF EMI

OUTER SLEEVE:
Clean and shiny with 2 or 3 slight indentations and a patch of very small dirty marks. There is a little wear along the top opening. The outline of the records shows slightly on the outer covers. The only real flaw with the cover (and indeed with the whole set) is the spine which is a bit creased and dirty, the lettering 'The BEATLES' is clear at the top but the lettering at the bottom has more or less been worn away. The inside of the sleeve is clean and tidy. The outer sleeve has no writing or ink or pencil marks on it.

INNER SLEEVES:
These are black and in very good condition. One has a small tear (less than 1cm) from the cut out centre hole.

PHOTOGRAPHS:
All in near mint condition. The paper sheet which protects the photos is present with a few creases but in generally good clean condition. All 5 items are in plastic wallets.

POSTER:
This has no writing or marks on it and is in good condition The lyric side which was folded to be outside is slightly discoloured. There are small holes at the corners of the folds and one tear, 9cm long from one side. There are slight creases at the corners.

THE VINYL:
The records are clean and bright with very few visible scratches or scuffs. There is a little spindle wear and some marks where a spindle has rubbed the labels.

SOUND:
I have recently played these records using a new diamond stylus. The sound is clear and fresh. There is some minor crackle on quiet tracks and between tracks and a slight click can be heard on 'Julia' and on 'Don't Pass me By'. None of these are at all distracting.

OVERALL THIS IS A VERY PLEASING SET IT'S ONLY FAULT BEING THE SPINE OF THE COVER, OTHERWISE IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
