Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Beatles White Album, released in 1968 on Apple. This is a stereo press, cat no PCS 7067 / PCS 7068, number is 129244. Very early press with “Sold in UK” text on the labels; record 2 also has “An EMI Recording” (not present on record 1). -1 matrix numbers throughout.
Condition: no serious feelable sctratches on any of the vinyl sides, though sides 1-3 have some light marks on towards the end of each side. Plays with some clicks & pops (less on record two), which may lessen with a good wet clean. Cover has some creases, a repaired split on the spine, two smaller (2”) seam splits, and some general wear. Black inners are present but rather tatty. Poster & photos are missing. Not great, but acceptable as a starter copy. VG/VG+/G+ (LP1/LP2/cover).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
